Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Communications Strategy and Brand
  • • Serve as the organization's communications strategist, developing and implementing a comprehensive communications and marketing plan with clear goals, a calendar, and measures of success.
  • • Ensure CCMS communicates effectively across multiple platforms with consistent branding, voice, and visual identity.
  • • Modernize and/or maintain communications channels and systems, including the website, email, social media, and supporting tools.
  • • Manage the communications and marketing budget and any outside vendors or freelancers.
  • • Support the Board of Trustees, using its guidance and ambassador work to strengthen strategy.
  • • Monitor results, such as web traffic, enrollment inquiries, event attendance, and engagement, and adjust the plan accordingly.
  • Audience Growth and Community Presence
  • • Design and carry out a multi-channel outreach plan to reach priority audiences through digital, print, radio, and community presence.
  • • Build awareness of the full range of CCMS offerings, from lessons and ensembles, expressive therapies, performances, and special events.

Requirements

  • Minimum of [five] years of progressively responsible marketing, communications, or community engagement experience, preferably in a nonprofit, educational, or arts and culture organization.
  • Bachelor's degree required in marketing, communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Preferred

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with music, arts education, or the cultural sector, and with the Concord community, is a plus.
  • Experience with radio, local media, print advertising, or partnership development is a plus.
