Job Summary

Own the growth engine for a family-owned CPG with a strong emphasis on strategy-to-execution, brand differentiation, and cross-channel activation.

  • Growth ownership: translate strategy into clear priorities, plans, and cross-channel programs.
  • Brand and value: sharpen story and sales tools across packaging, content, and communications.
  • Collaboration and ops: lead cross-functional execution, marketing ops, and market-informed decision making.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and leadership to translate growth strategy into clear marketing priorities, plans, and programs.
  • Strengthen BMF’s brand story and value proposition across sales tools, packaging, content, and communications.
  • Develop practical tools, insights, narratives, and programs that support customer development and new business growth.
  • Build a deep understanding of what makes BMF distinct — including our family ownership, agricultural sourcing, product quality, and operational capabilities — and translate that into a clear value proposition across channels.
  • Bring market, customer, and channel insights back into the organization to inform decisions and sharpen priorities.
  • Help identify, test, and advance growth opportunities, including Direct-to-Consumer and other channel development efforts.
  • Lead marketing execution by coordinating internal work, external partners, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bring structure, focus, and momentum to marketing operations while supporting strong cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Help      the organization navigate evolving priorities and tradeoffs with clarity, flexibility, and good judgment.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive marketing experience, with meaningful CPG experience required.
  • Experience in food, beverage, agriculture, or natural products strongly preferred.
  • Strong commercial orientation, including experience partnering with Sales and supporting customer-facing growth.
  • Proven ability to build or evolve marketing capability in a growing or complex organization.
  • Able to translate strategy into clear stories, priorities, tools, and action.
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and comfortable working in a business where priorities evolve and not every answer is fully defined.

Preferred

  • Experience in food, beverage, agriculture, or natural products strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or external marketing partners preferred.
