Job Summary

Own community-facing marketing and physician-relations alignment to drive local brand and reputation; oversee events, social channels, provider directory, and onboarding/offboarding comms while ensuring HIPAA-compliant crisis handling.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develops and oversees the execution of strategic marketing plans for service lines based on organizational priorities.
  • Leads and participates in the annual operating budget planning, development, and oversight for the marketing team.
  • Coordinates and executes marketing and community events in collaboration with the physician marketing and community outreach team.
  • Manages campus-level social media channels and reputation, ensuring consistent and positive representation.
  • Oversees the online provider directory, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Med Staff, Clinic Management, and the Consumer Experience Center.
  • Coordinates marketing plans for onboarding new providers and manages communication for offboarding providers.
  • Represents the organization positively at community programs and functions to promote the brand.
  • Aligns community relations initiatives with the Director of Physician Relations and Community through partnerships with local organizations.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Physician Relations to ensure alignment of marketing campaigns and physician relations initiatives.
  • Works with the AVP/Communications Director on crisis mitigation and adherence to HIPAA guidelines for film/photography requests.

Requirements

  • Ability to demonstrate success in building relationships with community leaders by representing and elevating the brand [Required]
  • Extensive successful writing and editing experience (externally focused) with a variety of print and online communications media [Required]
  • Excellent and persuasive communicator [Required]
  • Stature and confidence to work effectively with a high-performing hospital leadership [Required]
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment navigating local facility needs with GA Market goals [Required]
  • Ability to manage marketing and communications to advance an organization’s mission and goals [Required]
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously with minimal direction [Required]
  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs [Required]
  • Ability to translate strategic thinking into action plans and output [Required]
  • Ability to communicate challenging concepts into easily understandable language [Required]

Preferred

  • Experience as a project manager, team leader or communications manager [Preferred]
  • Leadership experience [Preferred]
