Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build our future together: The Director will work closely with the Executive Director; Global Strategic Customer Engagement in advancing Regeneron’s Rare Disease strategic planning and execution. The scope of the role will include coordination across partners, functions, indications, development areas and regions. The Director will integrate and coordinate a unified Regeneron based view and approach across business planning, global and market brand strategies and strategic projects.
  • The leader will work with the VP, Global Rare Disease CBU Head and the REGN CBU leaders to assure effective integration of Commercial and Regeneron goals and objectives.
  • This role will report to the Executive Director, Global Rare Disease Strategic Customer Engagement and will execute responsibilities while closely collaborating across Business Unit leads, international teams (e.g., U.S. Japan, EU), key internal functions and the alliance partner.
  • Global Brand Marketing: Develops the global brand strategy based on insights and drives the execution of global marketing strategy and initiatives for the product preparing for and driving Global and supporting local market launches
  • Develop and implement global commercial/marketing activities such as core branded materials, advisory boards, congress activities, customer engagement plans, segmentation and targeting
  • Develop communication plans across the product life cycle and implements communication and omnichannel engagement campaigns, across the marketing mix ensuring timely delivery via KPIs
  • Benchmarks against competitors and proposes corrective actions where appropriate
  • Continually reviews and consolidates competitive intelligence and customer insights
  • Execution of Brand Strategy: Ensures close relationship with affiliates and strong understanding of local market dynamics
  • Works with partner agencies in driving the core campaign and materials

Requirements

  • Master's degree, ideally in a scientific discipline with 12+ years of progressive consulting and industry/relevant professional experience; including pharmaceutical/biotech related experience. Fully understands biotech development and commercialization processes.
  • Strong analytic skills, learning agility, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable in presenting and gaining support from C-suite executives.
  • Experience in developing compelling business cases, marketing tactics, portfolio assessments and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong project and process management skills (including spreadsheet and ppt skills) along with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Prior U.S. or global commercial strategy development experience; candidate must possess solid knowledge of U.S. and global (top 10) biotech based commercial strategies, launch planning and reimbursement systems
