Job Summary

Own the digital storytelling and outreach cadence for a mission-driven org across social, website, email, and visuals while keeping a consistent voice and simple engagement signals.

  • Social media management: plan, schedule, and publish across platforms to amplify events and programs.
  • Digital content production: update the website, create Canva visuals, and mail newsletters via Constant Contact.
  • Messaging and branding: align with the Executive Director and maintain a consistent voice and basic engagement metrics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and schedule social media content across platforms (e.g., Instagram,Facebook)
  • Maintain and update the organization’s website with events, programs, and announcements
  • Design promotional materials (flyers, graphics, event visuals) using Canva
  • Create, manage, and distribute email newsletters (e.g., via Constant Contact)
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director on messaging and communications strategy
  • Ensure consistency in branding and voice across all digital platforms
  • Track basic engagement metrics and adjust content as needed

Requirements

  • Experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands
  • Proficiency in Canva and basic graphic design principles
  • Experience with website management (Squarespace preferred)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Highly responsive and receptive to feedback and direction
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
