Responsibilities

• Develop marketing strategy roadmaps (quarterly or monthly plans with clear priorities)
• Build social media strategies (monthly themes, content pillars, campaign planning, posting cadence)
• Write high-quality social captions in a client’s voice (brand-aligned, audience-aware, conversion-friendly)
• Create email marketing assets, including:
• Sales email funnels (lead magnet nurture, launches, promotions, onboarding sequences)
• Monthly newsletters (content planning + writing)
• Basic segmentation ideas and improvement recommendations
• Join client calls, lead check-ins as needed, and communicate professionally and clearly
• Collaborate with designers/video editors and internal project managers to meet deadlines
• Track work in project management tools and keep tasks moving without being chased

Requirements

• Have 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or email marketing (agency experience is a plus)
• Are a strong writer who can adapt tone to match different brands
• Know how to create strategy and execute it (not just ideas)
• Are confident being client-facing and can explain marketing decisions clearly
• Are extremely dependable with deadlines and time management
• Have working knowledge of email platforms (Flodesk, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, etc.)
• Understand basic performance metrics (opens, CTR, engagement, conversions) and how to improve them

Preferred

• Paid ads experience (Meta/Google) or familiarity collaborating with ads specialists
• Basic SEO knowledge and ability to write with search intent in mind
• Experience building simple reporting or pulling insights for clients
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
