Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 senior-level engineers.
• Establish clear technical direction aligned with business and marketing goals.
• Drive engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews, career pathing, and skill development planning.
• Foster a culture of ownership, velocity, quality, and operational discipline.
• Recruit, retain, and uplevel top engineering talent.
• Implement strong sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery forecasting.
• Elevate the engineering organization through improved standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Develop technical leaders within the team and build succession depth.
• Establish KPIs for engineering performance, uptime, deployment frequency, and quality.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3–5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
• Strong hands-on background in RESTful API development, NodeJS backend services, and ReactJS front-end applications.
• AWS cloud infrastructure and proven experience in Marketing Technology and Lead Generation systems.
• Experience integrating with major Ad Platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.).
• Deep understanding of attribution models, conversion tracking, and feedback loops.
• Experience building highly available, scalable production systems and solid DevOps practices.
• Experience designing distributed and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to balance operational stability with rapid iteration.
• Must be local to Tampa, FL.
