Job Summary

Own end-to-end email and SMS automations for a hospitality brand, turning data into personalized journeys that drive revenue and guest engagement using Marketing Cloud.

  • Own audience segmentation and personalization using customer data and A/B testing to improve relevance and impact, with data-driven decisions.
  • Lead end-to-end campaign builds from data extensions to journeys and reporting, aligning with business objectives.
  • Monitor performance and translate metrics into iterative optimizations across revenue, opens, CTR, and conversions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the Loyalty and Customer Engagement team at Omni Hotels & Resorts by designing and implementing automated marketing and event journeys via email and SMS, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Build all campaign components from end-to-end, including data extensions, suppression lists, static and dynamic content objects, personalization fields, and customer journeys.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend strategies to optimize campaigns and ensure that the channel aligns with business objectives.
  • Use customer data and A/B testing to create audience segments and personalization campaigns for maximum relevance and impact.
  • Generate regular reports on key metrics such as revenue, open rate, clickthrough rate, and conversion.
  • Periodically evaluate and revise current automation practices, to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and channel best practices.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience building automations with an enterprise-level email and SMS platform, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Good command of HTML/XML and SQL or other query language; familiarity with AMPScript.
  • Familiarity with a CDP or similar enterprise-level data platform
  • Ability to derive insights from customer data to inform campaign strategy, via tools such as Excel or Google Sheets (e.g. chart creation, Pivot Tables, and other forms of data visualization/manipulation)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with both headquarters and field teams.
  • Experience in a direct-to-consumer brand with an email marketing channel required; previous hospitality experience a bonus.
