Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns for games, events, promotions, and special announcements.
  • Manage email campaign editorial calendar including ideation, development, testing, scheduling, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, dynamic, and targeted content-driven campaigns to various audiences
  • Coordinate digital marketing promotional calendars and communication schedules.
  • Collaborate with all departments in writing and executing content for email distribution
  • Manage the daily SMS calendar from ideation to deployment
  • Maintain subscriber databases and ensure compliance with email and SMS marketing regulations.
  • Monitor and report on Email and SMS performance including subscriber growth, open rates, click through rates and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Analytics team to develop email segmentation strategy and testing opportunities
  • Measure the effectiveness of MLB automated email marketing campaigns and collaborate with MLB on new strategies and efficiencies
  • Overseeing end-to-end development of assets for email and SMS

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business/Marketing or related field
  • 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices
  • A proactive thinker with a solutions-oriented mentality
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, prioritize and problem solve, and manage time effectively within a fast-paced environment
  • Initiative to thrive in a team atmosphere and individual basis
  • Proficiency in Photoshop or similar photo editing software, Adobe Premiere, and Microsoft Office
  • Working proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and understanding of email marketing software
  • This position may entail night and weekend work coverage
