Job Summary

Own livestock-focused content strategy across websites, email, SMS, catalogs, and ads, aligning with product and sales goals, driving tiered SEO improvements, and maintaining brand voice across channels.

  • Content Creation & SEO: Develop educational and promotional content and optimize product and category pages for search.
  • Campaign & Channel Support: Collaborate on multi-channel campaigns (email, social, Google/Meta ads) to support seasonal initiatives.
  • Content Lifecycle & Performance: Coordinate assets, calendars, and performance reviews to improve engagement and consistency.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop livestock-focused content for websites, email campaigns, SMS marketing, catalogs, flyers, advertisements, videos, and other promotional materials.
  • Partner with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams to support seasonal initiatives and business objectives.
  • Create educational and promotional content that communicates livestock industry trends, best practices, and product benefits.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to product pages, category pages, blogs, and other digital content.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, photographers, videographers, and digital marketing team members to ensure content aligns with brand standards and campaign goals.
  • Support marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, Google Ads, and Meta advertising platforms.
  • Proofread and edit marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, clarity, and brand voice.
  • Monitor content performance and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain organized records of content assets, project updates, and content calendars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Agricultural Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, digital marketing, content strategy, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt messaging across multiple audiences and channels.
  • Experience with SEO, keyword research, content marketing, CMS platforms, email marketing platforms, and digital marketing tools preferred.
  • Ability to translate product information, industry trends, and customer insights into clear, engaging content.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with livestock, agriculture, equine, pet, or related markets is preferred
  • Self-motivated, creative, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
