Content & Social Media Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Own the content creation process:
• Website
• Videos
• Assist in copywriting of the monthly e-newsletter
• Assist in copywriting of the print newsletter
• Helping to compose and edit direct marketing letters with the Development team
• Scheduling relevant content across social media accounts
• Engaging with users on social media platforms in a timely manner
• Identifying, sharing, and executing relevant social trends
• Analyzing content performance

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience working within a Marketing Department (or similar)
• Prior experience as a Social Media Coordinator/Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of best practices for individual social media platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to swiftly create content, both independently & as a team
• Prior experience using social media scheduling software (Meta Planner, Hootsuite, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with copywriting

Preferred

• BS/BA in marketing, communications, or related field preferred. Relevant experience considered.
• Microsoft Office preferred
• Basic to intermediate production skills (audio, video, photography) preferred
• Prior experience with Monday.com (or similar project management software) preferred
• Prior experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) preferred
• Comfortability with handling animals preferred
