Support multi-channel communications and event coordination for Mountrail-Williams Electric Cooperative as a student internship.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging content for multiple communication channels, including but not limited to, newsletters, social media, press releases, and the website.
  • Assist in internal communications.
  • Assist with daily activities, events, meetings and projects.
  • Execute a special project, to be determined, that involves design, development, coordination, and overall execution of an event, project, or activity.

Requirements

  • May 2026 thru August 2026;Hours Negotiable up to 40 hours a week.
  • Currently enrolled in a Communications, Marketing, Public Relation, Business or related field at an accredited college or university.
  • Preference will be given to students entering their Junior or Senior year in the Fall of 2026.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can demonstrate working knowledge of marketing and communications strategy.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and digital marketing.
  • Evening and weekend hours are required for special events/activities.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by management and supervisors.
  • The Company reserves the right to change the minimum requirements at any time as business necessity requires.
