Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as main designer for the agency, producing high-quality visual assets across print and digital platforms
  • Design branded marketing collateral: brochures, flyers, posters, signage, banners, web graphics, email graphics, and event materials
  • Create compelling content for retail product packaging, point-of-sale, signage, menus, and seasonal campaigns
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines across all Sunshine entities, including Georgette’s and Sunshine Studios
  • Manage creative file organization and brand asset libraries
  • Generate original art, icons, templates, and layouts that support accessible communication
  • Execute social media strategy and content for retail brands as directed by the Marketing Director, including graphics, short-form videos, product spotlights, and community feature
  • Support email marketing graphics and storytelling for retail communications
  • Assist with photography and videography needs when appropriate

Requirements

  • Expert-level Proficiency In
  • Adobe Creative Suite including:
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
  • Premiere Pro (basic editing)
  • Canva (brand template and team management)
  • Microsoft Office
  • File preparation for print vendors
  • Digital photography basics & asset management
  • Understanding of social content design, sizing, and platform best practices
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite
  • Basic understanding of email platforms (Constant Contact or similar)
  • Comfortable supporting SEO-aligned visual content (image naming, alt-text, formatting for accessibility)
  • Bachelor’s Degree: in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related field required
  • 1-3 years of Professional graphic design experience with nonprofit or retail experience preferred
  • Experience designing for social media, print production, and brand marketing required
  • Experience with brand marketing and portfolio demonstrating strong design execution and creative versatility required
  • Effective written & verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • 1-3 years of Professional graphic design experience with nonprofit or retail experience preferred
  • Experience with administrative tasks preferred
