Sunshine Communities, founded in 1950, provides services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The array of services offered includes residential, vocational and recreational. Our mission is to create community among people with IDD, their families, friends and staff. We do this by offering services that enable all of us to build relationships through mutual caring and growth.Sunshine Communities offers life-enriching opportunities that celebrate and nurture each individual’s unique abilities, interests and dreams, allowing them to find their place in the community.
