Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Engage with community members at events and outreach locations to raise awareness for nonprofit organizations and their missions
  • Educate individuals about charitable initiatives, community programs, and the positive impact of donations
  • Encourage voluntary contributions to support nonprofit fundraising campaigns
  • Communicate the goals, programs, and community impact of charity partners in a clear and engaging way
  • Represent charitable organizations professionally while creating positive public interactions
  • Participate in outreach campaigns and fundraising events designed to increase visibility for nonprofit partners
  • Work with team members to meet daily and weekly fundraising awareness goals
  • Maintain professionalism and enthusiasm while interacting with a wide range of people in the community
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable speaking with new people in face-to-face settings
  • Positive attitude and passion for charitable causes and community outreach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to outreach or event locations if needed
  • Prior experience in fundraising, community outreach, customer interaction, or public engagement is helpful but not required
Preferred
  • Confident speaking with the public and presenting information clearly
  • Ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Organized and able to stay motivated in a fast-paced outreach environment
