Job Summary

Own on-site brand representation and fast turn sales at pop-ups with strong focus on logistics, training, and compliance to hit short-term sales and sign-ups.

  • Brand & sales ownership: Represent the brand at pop-ups, educate customers on products, and drive immediate sales and sign-ups.
  • Operations & compliance: Manage kit logistics, timekeeping, reporting, and ensure NYS cannabis laws and dispensary procedures are followed.
  • Learning & feedback: Provide actionable field feedback to improve training, processes, and client strategy.

Job Description

  • Reliable Commute & Setup: Commute to each "pop-up" shift with your assigned brand kit and display table, ensuring that you are prepared to drive sales by interacting with & educating customers on each product.
  • Time Management: Utilize our required mobile application to accurately clock in and clock out for all shifts, demonstrating consistent punctuality.
  • Accountable Logistics: Take full accountability for the security, organization, and inventory of one or more brand-specific kits, including requesting replacement stock well in advance of depletion.
  • Detailed Reporting: Submit comprehensive end-of-day reports immediately following the shift through the mobile app, ensuring client requirements are met.
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as a passionate and authentic extension of the client brand, striving to make it the customer's top choice.
  • High-Impact Sales/Marketing: Proactively engage customers, provide accurate and compelling product education, and execute strategies to drive sales and customer sign-ups (e.g., email lists, promotions).
  • Knowledge & Training: Commit to taking and excelling in continuous brand-specific training to become fully versed in every aspect of each brand's culture, product line, and competitive advantages.
  • Professional Feedback: Be open to and actively provide detailed, actionable feedback to Trimmr and clients regarding customer interactions, product interest, and operational insights.
  • Presentation: Maintain a high level of professionalism, presenting yourself well, managing your display based on client reference images, and adhering to all dress code requirements.
  • Adaptability: Independently manage the logistics of your shifts and smoothly adapt your approach to unexpected changes in the store environment (e.g., short staffing, high volume).
  • Experience: Proven experience (preferred 1+ years) in sales, brand ambassador services, promotional work, retail, or high-volume customer service.
  • Industry Passion: A deep, demonstrated passion for the cannabis industry and motivation to grow professionally within it.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, engagingly, and authentically, building immediate trust and rapport.
  • Self-Starter: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of independent decision-making, communication and problem-solving in the field.
  • Technologically Savvy: Comfortable using mobile applications for time-keeping, reporting, and communication.
  • Compliance: Must be 21+ and legally eligible to work in New York State.
