Job Description

Responsibilities

  • In-person voter outreach: Conduct door-to-door canvassing and have meaningful conversations with voters throughout Assembly District 66
  • Voter contact programs: Participate in phone banking and text banking to identify supporters and mobilize voters ahead of the primary
  • Community engagement: Represent the campaign at neighborhood events, community meetings, and local gatherings to help build relationships with voters and stakeholders
  • Volunteer engagement: Assist with recruiting, welcoming, and coordinating volunteers for canvasses and campaign activities
  • Fundraising support: Help with grassroots fundraising efforts, including donor outreach, event preparation, and maintaining fundraising tracking systems
  • Campaign communications: Support digital outreach and assist with social media content, messaging, and campaign visibility efforts
  • Event planning and execution: Assist with organizing campaign events, volunteer launches, meet-and-greets, and community gatherings
  • Campaign operations: Support field logistics, voter data tracking, and other day-to-day campaign activities
  • Campaign strategy exposure: Participate in campaign meetings and gain insight into the strategy behind a competitive New York City legislative campaign
