Job Summary

Own CAC’s campus outreach and social content with focus on student engagement, equity-centered programming, and event attendance.

  • Social & Content: Own CAC’s social channels with content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Community & Events: Plan outreach, coordinate events, and build partnerships with student groups and campus partners.
  • Operations & Analytics: Track media performance, share insights, and refine tactics to boost reach and participation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain CAC’s social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc.), ensuring consistent and engaging content.
  • Develop creative and culturally relevant content, including graphics, videos, and stories, to promote CAC programs and events.
  • Assist in executing a strategic outreach plan to increase attendance and engagement at CAC events.
  • Support general CAC marketing efforts by tabling at campus-wide events and conducting classroom and student organization presentations.
  • Track media analytics and inform the team on findings, trends, and suggestions for improvement.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of CAC Special Programs, such as Legacy Month, Rooted, CHI Day, and others.
  • Provide logistical and operational support for events, including setup, promotion, and day-of execution.
  • Contribute to the development of new programming that aligns with CAC’s mission and student interests.
  • Represent CAC in meetings, events, and conferences with students, staff, faculty, campus leadership, and community organizations.
  • Help foster and maintain reciprocal relationships with community partners and student organizations.
