Job Description
Responsibilities
- Business development: research and qualify prospective clients, identify relevant decision-makers and business opportunities, and support targeted business development outreach.
- Marketing and sales materials: support the development of business development proposals, sales presentations, marketing collateral and other materials used to engage prospective clients and industry partners.
- Pipeline and operations: keep our CRM and pipeline accurate, coordinate meetings and follow-ups, and report progress weekly.
- Client support (growing over time): assist on client engagements as they develop, from research and content to coordination and reporting
Requirements
- Strong research, analytical and written communication skills, with the initiative to investigate opportunities, organize findings and produce accurate, professional work
- 0 to 2 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales support or a related field
- Confidence communicating professionally with senior industry contacts
- Comfort working independently and taking ownership in a small, remote team
- Familiarity with CRM tools (such as HubSpot), Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
- Interest in insurance or B2B services; insurance experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Based in the United States and authorized to work there
