Brand Ambassador / Community Canvasser (Field Advocate)

Responsibilities

• Hitting the streets: canvassing neighborhoods, community events, local businesses, and high-traffic spots across your borough.
• Starting conversations with community members and sharing information about our programs and services.
• Representing our brand with energy, confidence, and a smile.
• Helping residents get connected to services and collecting accurate information.
• Building relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and partners.
• Tracking your daily outreach and crushing your goals.
• Being part of a fun, supportive team that celebrates wins together.

Requirements

• A true people person with a strong, outgoing personality.
• Confident approaching people you don’t know, and not afraid to hear "no."
• Reliable, on time, and motivated by goals.
• Comfortable being on your feet and outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Someone who knows their borough and cares about the community.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and basic apps.
• Experience in canvassing, promotions, street team, sales, customer service, or community outreach is a plus, but not required. We'll train you!
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or another language spoken in the community) is a big plus.
