Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Trade & VIP Hospitality Lead premium account hosting and signature trade events at the Distillery and Aspen Lodge and VIP experiences at Cask Thief & Snowflake, and the annual Single Malt Society Event . Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, buyers, and influencers while delivering exceptional brand experiences that drive engagement, loyalty, and advocacy for Stranahan's.
  • Brand Education & Market Activation Lead portfolio tastings, brand trainings, and consumer activations that bring the Stranahan's story to life while supporting sales growth and trade engagement. Serve as the primary on-site ambassador and represent the brand through educational programming at both the Distillery and Aspen Lodge, and support the head blender for media opportunities, industry events, and key market activations that build awareness, advocacy, and lasting relationships.
  • Single Barrel Program Ownership Lead the end-to-end management of Stranahan's Single Barrel Program, from barrel identification and evaluation to account experiences and program execution. Curate and maintain a pipeline of barrel candidates, host personalized selection experiences for key partners, and serve as the internal subject matter expert, ensuring seamless coordination, education, and support across sales, ambassador, and account teams.
  • Blending & Production Support Partner with the Head Blender to support sample preparation, blend development, and quality documentation that help drive production excellence. Maintain the sample library and blending resources while ensuring the seamless execution of tasting, evaluation, and production support activities.

Requirements

  • Whiskey Expertise & Product Knowledge. Deep passion for American whiskey with strong knowledge of production, blending, cask evaluation, single barrel programs, inventory management, and spirits compliance processes.
  • Brand Advocacy & Communication. Exceptional presentation, public speaking, and storytelling abilities, with experience leading tastings, brand education programs, consumer activations, media engagements, and VIP experiences.
  • Relationship Building & Industry Presence. Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, trade partners, media contacts, and industry stakeholders, with established connections within the Colorado whiskey and spirits community.
  • Operational Excellence & Adaptability. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities, support production and actively operate warehouse equipment, work flexible hours, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality and event-driven environment.
  • Language Requirements. Fluent English (written and conversational knowledge with ability to read and interpret documents).
