Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and execute comprehensive marketing and ticket sales plans for assigned sports and events with an emphasis on increasing season, single-game and group ticket sales, social media, enhancing fan experience and the overall game presentation (50%)
  • Prepare and coordinate all aspects of game-day production and promotions for assigned sports, including the selection of music; the production of game scripts integrating public address, video board, spirit squads, mascot and bands when applicable (25%)
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing special events and community service for UNC Athletics. (10%)
  • Assist in building and managing a comprehensive internship/student worker program designed to increase the productivity and capabilities of functions within the Marketing & Fan Engagement unit. (10%)
  • Other miscellaneous duties. (5%)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a field such as Marketing, Sports Management, etc.
  • A master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Candidates must have valid U.S. work authorization at the time of application; UNC cannot provide H-1B sponsorship
