Account Executive, Public Relations (Financial Services)

Responsibilities

• Client Service & Program Support
• Support day-to-day contact for client teams and help manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Participate in client calls and contribute to status updates, coverage reports, and next-step planning.
• Support program execution across media relations, awards, speaking, and thought leadership campaigns.
• Research industry trends, competitors, and breaking news to identify media or commentary opportunities.
• Media & Influencer Relations
• Support media outreach efforts by building and maintaining journalist lists and researching new opportunities.
• Draft and send high-quality media pitches and press materials that align with client goals.
• Help monitor and report on media coverage and trends in business, finance, and financial services.
• Assist in developing and managing clients' social media and amplification strategies, especially on LinkedIn.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of PR or communications experience, in an agency environment
• Familiarity or interest in financial services, insurtech, or banking industries
• Strong writing and editing skills across a variety of formats
• A growing network of media contacts and enthusiasm for media relations
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• A proactive, flexible, and collaborative attitude
• Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (a plus)

Benefits

• The salary range for this position is $54,000 to $62,000, with the final offer based on a combination of factors, including education, relevant experience, skills, prior training, internal equity, and local geographic market data.
