Job Description
Responsibilities
- Client Service & Program Support
- Support day-to-day contact for client teams and help manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Participate in client calls and contribute to status updates, coverage reports, and next-step planning.
- Support program execution across media relations, awards, speaking, and thought leadership campaigns.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and breaking news to identify media or commentary opportunities.
- Media & Influencer Relations
- Support media outreach efforts by building and maintaining journalist lists and researching new opportunities.
- Draft and send high-quality media pitches and press materials that align with client goals.
- Help monitor and report on media coverage and trends in business, finance, and financial services.
- Assist in developing and managing clients' social media and amplification strategies, especially on LinkedIn.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of PR or communications experience, in an agency environment
- Familiarity or interest in financial services, insurtech, or banking industries
- Strong writing and editing skills across a variety of formats
- A growing network of media contacts and enthusiasm for media relations
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- A proactive, flexible, and collaborative attitude
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (a plus)
