Job Summary
Own the client-support and sponsorship coordination track, turning briefs into organized plans, research-backed decks, and partner pitches for multiple sports accounts.
- Responsibilities: Coordinate day-to-day client comms and organize activation calendars, billing, metrics, and reports
- Client & Opportunity: Manage several accounts, identify new projects, and help present sports partnership strategies to senior executives
- Research & Execution: Build research-backed decks and assist in evaluating sponsorship proposals for Optimum Sports clients
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist AE/SAE/Supervisor in day-to-day communication
- Organize and track documents, such as activation calendars, billing, metrics, recaps, and evaluations
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects, including developing a broad understanding of clients’ businesses and needs
- Aid in the evaluation and negotiation of sponsorship proposals on behalf of Optimum Sports clients
- Design decks and word documents that convey strategy supported with appropriate research
- Gain a strong understanding of research from third party data, industry trades, and additional sources to produce and interpret reports
- Proactive in identifying new projects and business opportunities with existing clients
- Assist in presenting new partnership and annual sports strategic opportunities to senior level client executives
- Familiar with in-stadium partnership structure, assets, and overall terminology
- Familiar with digital world both related to sports specific sites as well as social channels and content strategies
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or communications
- Entry Level, 1 year of experience
- Knowledge of sports is essential
- High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research
