Job Summary

Own the media-relations engine and day-to-day account execution for hospitality clients, shaping strategy, crafting compelling pitches, and supporting events to drive placements and client impact.

  • Media relations: strengthen relationships and secure placements in national and local outlets.
  • Campaign planning and storytelling: develop pitches, target lists, story angles, and materials.
  • Program operations: assist with strategy, CRM tracking, and event support to inform profitability and client impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a daily contact for multiple accounts, handling media requests and overseeing projects.
  • Assist with developing and implementing strategy and campaign planning.
  • Develop personalized pitches, strategic media target lists, and thoughtful story angles.
  • Write external and internal documents such as press materials, talking points, and team bios.
  • Strengthen media relationships to garner placements in national and local publications.
  • Assist with client and agency events, including invite list creation, RSVP management, and on-site support.
  • Actively participate in all-team meetings and brainstorms, contributing creative ideas for clients and internal projects.
  • Contribute to the agency’s CRM (Copper) and track time daily/weekly in Harvest to inform account profitability.
  • Suggest and draft content for Becca’s social media channels.
  • Represent Becca at industry and agency events.

Requirements

  • - 2-4 years of experience in public relations or a related communications field.
  • - A genuine interest in hospitality and a passion for our roster of clients.
  • - Proven experience in media relations with established press contacts.
  • - Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • - Prior agency experience is preferred; you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
