Responsibilities
- Create and publish engaging social media content highlighting CFRE research, programs, events, and activities.
- Highlight CoGLEE student achievements, experiences, scholarships, internships, and accomplishments.
- Develop faculty, staff, and student spotlights to showcase the people behind CFRE and CoGLEE.
- Share research stories and translate scientific work into accessible and engaging content for the public.
- Photograph and/or capture short videos of events, research activities, students, and facilities.
- Assist with promoting CFRE and CoGLEE events, programs, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to identify stories and content worth sharing.
- Help maintain a consistent, positive, and professional social media presence.
- Monitor social media engagement and identify opportunities to increase awareness and participation.
Requirements

Preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in social media, marketing, communications, environmental science, education, or a related field.
- Creative and comfortable developing new ideas for content.
- Basic photography, video, graphic design, or social media experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable representing CFRE and CoGLEE in a professional manner.
