Job Summary

Own end-to-end performance marketing for Roku’s paid media mix, driving subscriber and app growth while optimizing CAC, retention, and LTV across web, mobile, and CTV.

  • Growth Engine: Own multi-channel paid media—from search and social to affiliate and CTV—and align bids, creative, and landing experiences for scalable acquisition.
  • Measurement & Attribution: Build cohesive frameworks and dashboards with analytics teams to inform media decisions and track downstream value signals.
  • Cross-Functional Scale: Partner with Creative and Product/Analytics to test creative, landing pages, and conversion flows, onboard new channels, and codify playbooks for efficient growth.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead performance marketing programs across paid search, paid social, affiliate, CTV, and other digital acquisition channels to drive subscriber and app user growth
  • Manage budgets, bids, targeting, creative, and channel mix to improve CAC efficiency while optimizing toward customer quality, lifetime value, and long-term growth
  • Analyze campaign and cohort performance to identify optimization opportunities and make iterative improvements based on downstream conversion, retention, and value signals
  • Partner with creative teams to develop and test ad creative, landing pages, and conversion flows that improve acquisition efficiency and customer quality
  • Collaborate with analytics and data teams to build measurement frameworks, attribution approaches, dashboards, and reporting that support better investment decisions across web, mobile, and CTV
  • Evaluate and onboard new paid media channels, partners, and platforms that can expand reach and unlock efficient growth
  • Work with internal and external measurement partners to establish and maintain conversion tracking, pixel implementation, and campaign attribution
  • Help shape cross-channel acquisition strategy, operating processes, and playbooks as Roku continues building its paid media capabilities
  • Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to leadership, with a focus on scaling efficient growth

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, growth, or customer acquisition
  • Hands-on experience leading paid media programs across multiple channels, with deep expertise in at least one core channel such as paid search, paid social, affiliate, or CTV
  • Strong experience with growth measurement, attribution, conversion tracking, and performance reporting
  • A track record of optimizing not just to volume, but to customer quality, retention, and lifetime value
  • Experience driving subscription or recurring-revenue acquisition across one or more of web, mobile app, and connected TV
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgment in turning performance data into practical optimization decisions

Preferred

  • Experience in streaming, subscription, or digital consumer businesses
  • Familiarity with mobile app marketing and app install campaigns
  • Experience with landing page optimization and conversion rate improvement
  • Experience helping build or scale a paid media team or function
