Responsibilities

• Own the global messaging architecture for SASE, acting as the primary visionary responsible for defining, simplifying, and articulating the market's evolution toward a unified network security platform.
• Position Palo Alto Networks as the undisputed leader in SASE, ensuring our platform shape-shifts the industry narrative, dominates analyst evaluations (Gartner, Forrester, etc.), and wins executive-level mindshare.
• Capitalize on SASE adoption to maximize the attack rate, positioning our Cloud-Delivered Security Services (Advanced Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, DNS Security) as the native engine powering the secure edge.
• Champion an AI-first culture across your product marketing workflows, utilizing advanced automation and AI tools to accelerate content generation, scale enablement assets, and optimize go-to-market execution.
• Partner closely with your direct reports to develop, track, and evaluate major SASE product launch plans and tentpole marketing campaigns to hit pipeline and growth targets.
• Define and monitor clear SASE marketing performance metrics (ROI, pipeline velocity, market share expansion), effectively communicating these insights across company leadership.
• Analyze shifting market demands, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to influence SASE packaging, pricing models, and overarching GTM priorities.
• Master our key buyer personas (from network architects to CISOs) and collaborate deeply with global sales leadership to deploy high-velocity SASE sales plays and technical enablement.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise marketing, including a strong, demonstrated track record of leading high-performing product marketing teams in cloud or network security markets.
• Deep SASE Domain Expertise: Proven track record demonstrating profound knowledge of SASE architectures, Zero Trust framework, SD-WAN, SSE (Security Service Edge), and cloud-delivered service models.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify deeply complex networking and edge security concepts into highly articulate, value-driven narratives for both technical and business buyers.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the rare ability to build compelling, narrative-driven content that inspires internal teams, partners, and customers alike.
• Extensive experience managing full product lifecycle marketing—from initial business planning and platform positioning to global launch execution and performance measurement.
• Demonstrated capability to integrate advanced automation and AI tools within marketing workflows to streamline asset creation and uncover data-driven target audience insights.
• Proven ability to influence up, down, and across a heavily matrixed global enterprise, building strong partnerships with Product Management, Demand Gen, Analyst Relations, and Sales.
