Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a wide variety of communication and public relations needs including implementing media strategies and developing and disseminating content.
  • This position creates content that supports business objectives and effectively engages with key audiences to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • In addition, this position actively participates in Communications Department events and contributes to the overall success of communication initiatives through effective media strategies and stakeholder engagement.
  • Additionally, this role supports strategic executive communications by partnering with executive c-suite leaders to shape communications platforms and develop content such as speeches, talking points, briefing materials, and social content that advance enterprise priorities and position leaders as trusted voices.
  • It requires a high level of judgment, discretion, and professionalism when working with sensitive information and engaging with executives and stakeholders.
  • Coordinates media inquiries and responses.
  • Monitors media reputation and social content.
  • Provides timely reports on media activities.
  • Prepares briefing materials and conducts research for media opportunities.
  • Drafts press releases and other media related content.

Requirements

  • Strong writing and editorial skills [Required]
  • Expert proficiency knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. [Required]
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), flexibility and adaptability to change a must. [Required]
