Job Summary

Own core content and brand stewardship across print, digital, PR and social, while guiding leadership on strategic marketing plans and annual calendars.

  • Content Engine: Create and adapt marketing materials for website, newsletters, press, social and promotional items.
  • Partnerships & Operations: Collaborate with departments and outside vendors to produce brochures, flyers, photo/video assets and maintain brand image.
  • PR & Analytics: Manage media relations, apply industry best practices, review analytics, and report outcomes to improve initiatives.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative and engaging content for marketing and communication tools such as print materials, website, e-newsletter, press releases, social media and promotional items.
  • Work effectively with other departments to achieve goals and communicate to various stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with other departments and outside vendors to complete marketing materials such as brochures, flyers and photo/video resources.
  • Manage public relations with media contacts.
  • Research and implement industry best practices to improve marketing effectiveness, processes and content.
  • Review analytic reports to measure and share results to improve success of marketing initiatives.
  • Support leadership in establishing, implementing and evaluating a strategic marketing plan and annual calendar.
  • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, interns and consultants in elevating brand awareness.
  • Manage brand and public image.
  • Implement new and existing projects and initiatives as decided within each department.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing systems to advance the vision of CF and UWVFC.
  • Initiate new ideas and improving efficiencies in the Operations department and the organization.
  • Embrace a team mentality and work together with others to achieve goals.
  • Participate in professionals’ groups, such as Florida Public Relations Association.
  • Actively seek out opportunities for professional development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Team player with the ability to work with leadership to achieve organizational goals
  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills needed with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders, peers, and staff
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent computer skills and digital literacy (minimum of Microsoft and Adobe software programs)
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have use of insured motor vehicle
