Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of integrated marketing plans that promote AEM membership, sponsorships, and trade show participation, working closely with membership and sales teams.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across email, website, digital, and promotional channels, ensuring high quality, accurate, and on time delivery.
  • Write, proofread, and edit marketing content; including email communications, website copy, and promotional materials; ensuring consistency with AEM brand standards.
  • Support member and exhibitor communications for major AEM events and initiatives, helping ensure clear, professional, and timely messaging.
  • Maintain and update website pages and marketing assets related to membership, sponsorships, and exhibitor sales in coordination with internal teams.
  • Support marketing operations, including list management, basic campaign reporting, vendor coordination, invoice tracking, and budget monitoring under the direction of marketing leadership.

Requirements

  • A successful candidate will have an associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience), along with 1–3+ years of relevant experience in marketing coordination, communications, or administrative support.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in writing, proofreading, and campaign execution.
  • Clear and effective, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and comfort working with cross functional partners, particularly membership and sales stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, content management systems, CRM tools, or digital marketing fundamentals (preferred, not required).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience supporting marketing or communications initiatives tied to membership, sales, or customer engagement.
