  • Own campaign operations across social, email and print, including asset creation and scheduling.
  • Coordinate design, printing, mailing and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Monitor performance with key metrics and translate insights into concrete optimizations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Works with a team to develop and implement marketing campaigns across social media, email, and print channels.
  • Creates campaign assets using Canva or similar design software.
  • Monitors and evaluates campaign performance using key metrics and makes recommendations as needed.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational goals.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to established timelines and project requirements.
  • Coordinates the design, printing, mailing and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Writes and edits marketing and communications content, including support for the creation and publication of UEN and UTN monthly newsletters.
  • Assists with planning, promotion, and staffing events that support UEN and UTN initiatives.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree.
  • Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
  • EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
  • Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels:
  • Marketing Communication Specialist, I: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree.
  • Marketing Communication Specialist, II: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet multiple, and often competing, deadlines.
  • Experience with digital marketing, including campaign analytics and performance reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Asana, Emma, and Hootsuite or similar project management and marketing platforms.
  • Graphic design experience, particularly with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
