Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales team to develop custom direct-sold digital media plans that align with client objectives and budget.
• Select and recommend appropriate ad formats, placements, and audience targeting strategies across our digital properties.
• Transcribe digital media plans into agency templates.
• Utilize historical data and industry benchmarks to forecast campaign performance and optimize media allocations.
• Prepare client-facing materials that clearly communicate the value and expected impact of the proposed media plans.
• Work closely with Ad Operations for product recommendations and inventory requests.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, ad formats, and performance metrics to continually refine media planning strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in digital media planning for a digital publisher or ad agency.
• Demonstrated experience creating media plans for direct-sold advertising and sponsored content campaigns.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience working with CPMs, CTRs, audience targeting, and campaign performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets required; experience with Canva a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex media plans into clear client-facing documents.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
