Job Summary

Drive photo and video content creation for The Fresh Air Fund from planning through distribution across camps, website, and campaigns.

  • Must-have: 3–5 years of photography/videography experience with Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro
  • Standout: CMS management (Canto) and supervising summer staff

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Photo & Video Production
  • Capture high-quality, impactful, and authentic photos and videos at camp and school-year programs
  • Film interviews and b-roll of program activities
  • Create short and long-form video content aligned with The Fund's brand
  • Edit videos for social media, website, recruitment, and fundraising campaigns
  • Manage pre-production planning and on-site video production
  • Content Creation
  • Interview campers, parents/caregivers, staff, and alumni
  • Manage The Fund's CMS (Canto) and organize digital media assets
  • Supervise photography and videography summer staff and interns

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experienced photographer and videographer. Proficient in editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro)
  • Comfortable with outdoor photography and videography
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Experience with Canon mirrorless cameras and gimbal stabilizers
  • Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to The Fund's camps in New York's Mid-Hudson Valley and program sites in NYC
  • Ability to work periodic evening and/or weekends
  • Experience with WordPress and InDesign is a plus
  • A commitment to The Fresh Air Fund’s mission. Experience in a youth development setting is a plus
