Job Summary

Own global PR narrative and media strategy that ties brand history to launches while steering agency and influencer programs to maximize coverage and sentiment insights.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Global Communications: Participate in annual/quarterly PR strategy development, translating brand marketing calendars, product launch timelines, and market trends into actionable PR plans.
  • Create narratives to pitch to media outlets around collections and brand history.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive PR events and press, and public sentiment to provide data-driven insights for strategy dynamic adjustment.
  • Leverage the Creative Director’s relevance within the industry.
  • Identify key media titles and partners.
  • Build strong relationships with KOL and industry stakeholders
  • Assist in execution of communications campaigns across all media platforms (Print/digital) to maximize all storytelling opportunities, collaborating with global PR agencies and in-house teams on creating launch strategies for key events and partnerships.
  • Manage global network of agencies for PR and Communication purposes to optimize ongoing global strategic initiatives, organizing timely bi-weekly touch base, monthly reports and bi-yearly global PR meetings.
  • Deploy external communications to media and agencies including press releases, media alerts, interview requests and brand statements.
  • Support pitching and act as liaison for feature and interview requests

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in marketing and communications
  • College Education required
  • Strong communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills; able to work as a team, keen multitasker who can spearhead projects on his/her own with accountability
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Fashion GPS, Lefty, Adobe Acrobat a plus but not required)
  • Budget/revenue management experience preferred.
