Job Summary

  • Own and refine voice and campaign copy across channels and formats.
  • Lead 2–3 writers with mentorship and direct feedback to raise craft.
  • Coordinate with design, product, and leadership to tie copy decisions to strategy and outcomes.

Job Description

Own the brand copy and voice across campaigns, lead a small copy team, and shape how Strava talks across social, campaigns, and product moments.

  • Own copy direction across brand campaigns, paid social, GTMs, and tentpole activations from brief through final delivery.
  • Direct 2–3 experienced copywriters and content creators with regular 1:1s and performance feedback.
  • Partner with the ECD and Associate Creative Director, Visual Design to develop integrated concepts and provide editorial input.
  • Shape Strava's verbal identity including voice, tone guidelines, headlines, naming, and cross-context language.
  • Translate culture signals and audience insights into ideas for social, campaigns, and product moments.
  • Write and direct copy across formats: long-form, short-form, social-native, editorial, video scripts, app store, and partnerships.
  • Present work to cross-functional partners and leadership with clarity, tying copy choices to strategy and business impact.
  • Partner with external agencies to ensure voice and tone standards are upheld across external creative production.
