Job Description

Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate business courses while pursuing scholarship and service in a Christian liberal arts university setting.

  • Own and deliver on-campus teaching across undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Must-have: Earned PhD or DBA from an AACSB- or ACBSP-accredited university.
  • Standout: Integrate Christian faith in teaching and engage in scholarly work.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching, scholarly research and publication activities, advising, maintaining office hours, recruitment and retention activities, committee service, professional outreach activities, ACBSP accreditation support, and active engagement in the campus community.
  • Teaching responsibilities will be at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • The teaching load for the DCOB is seven (7) courses per academic year (Fall & Spring), and the primary modality of teaching is face-to-face. Some online instruction is possible.
  • The selected candidate will also perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide excellent teaching to undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of delivery formats.
  • Actively integrate the Christian faith in teaching.
  • Actively engage in scholarly work in their related discipline.
  • Engage in various service activities to the College, University, and community.

Requirements

  • Earned PhD or DBA from an AACSB- or ACBSP-accredited university in Business Communications, Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Advertising, or a closely related business discipline.
  • Rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
  • Availability to begin work on campus in Houston in August 2026.

Preferred

  • Experience with ACBSP accreditation.
  • Professional experience within the candidate’s discipline or in a related field will be an advantage.
