Job Description

Responsibilities

  • 360 Execution: Support the end-to-end execution of in-store activations and media plans, including obtaining customer buy-in and routing internal approvals.
  • Brand Alignment: Support Account Directors in delivering brand objectives while working cross-functionally to effectively meet specific customer marketing needs.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary liaison for retailer expectations and timelines with internal activation teams (e.g., Brand Activation, Creative, Supply Chain).
  • Ownership: Own customer-specific processes and activation workflows to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Fundamental Analysis: Lead fundamental customer marketing analysis required for business reviews, line reviews, and strategic planning.
  • Reporting: Maintain and optimize all customer marketing reporting necessary to monitor business performance.
  • Insights to Action: Utilize consumer and customer analytics to evaluate the ROI and impact of activation efforts, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Business Growth: Drive the business as a key team member by collaborating with multifunctional teams and leveraging data insights to fuel brand growth.
  • Collaboration: Work proactively within a multifunctional team environment, sharing learnings and supporting peer objectives.
  • Post-Mortem Recaps: Develop and present recaps of activation activity, highlighting performance against KPIs and recommending future strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a business analysis, sales, or trade marketing role.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong knowledge of retailer data and syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Retailer Portals).
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the beauty and personal care landscape, specifically within the [insert category] category.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to understand retailer strategies and objectives and align them with brand goals.
  • Efficiency: Ability to multitask and achieve deadlines in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional and customer-facing interaction.
