Job Description

Responsibilities

Managing and maintaining social content calendars across multiple client accounts
Writing, creating, editing and proofreading static social content across different formats
Making sure each client has the right mix of content and messaging, rather than simply filling spaces in a calendar
Monitoring client social channels and supporting community engagement – responding to comments, joining relevant conversations and making sure activity doesn’t go unnoticed
Supporting partner and supplier activity, whether that means engaging with their content, sharing posts or building relevant activity into the content calendar
Working with the wider team to turn blogs, events, publications, campaigns and other client activity into engaging social content
Picking up reactive opportunities through client WhatsApp groups – whether someone has just been promoted, they’re at an event, they’ve had a great client meeting or something simply needs to go out that day
Keeping an eye on what’s performing and using that insight to continually improve future content
Giving our own BbA social channels the same level of attention we give our clients
You’ll also work closely with Liam and Lauren, our Senior Marketing Executive, supporting wider content and client delivery, including events and shoots, and occasionally getting involved on camera

Requirements

Experience in social, content or marketing would obviously be useful, but we're not fixated on years served. We'd consider a really switched-on graduate with the right evidence of ability just as seriously as somebody with their first year of industry experience behind them.

Preferred

Have a genuine interest in social media, content and brands
Can write naturally and adapt your writing to different brand voices
Are a strong proofreader with excellent attention to detail
Have a good creative eye and care about how things look
Are comfortable using Canva and creating polished static social assets
Understand that good social content is about more than filling spaces in a calendar
Can juggle multiple brands, deadlines and requests without losing the detail
Are happy working reactively when something needs turning around quickly
Have the confidence to speak to clients and get involved at events and shoots
Bring ideas, energy and solutions rather than waiting to be told exactly what to do
