  • Support the planning, creation and delivery of digital marketing activity for leading pet health brands, working with brand, sales, veterinary and agency colleagues.
  • Help develop relationships with relevant digital creators and social media influencers, from research and outreach through to content coordination and performance review.
  • Track and communicate digital performance using appropriate analytics, social listening and reporting tools, turning findings into clear, practical recommendations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three A levels at grades ABB, or equivalent.
  • The right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and willing to learn new systems and digital tools.

Preferred

  • An interest in digital marketing, social media, e-commerce or customer experience, demonstrated through university projects, societies, volunteering, part-time work or personal projects.
  • Some familiarity with digital analytics, content creation, social listening or website platforms, together with an interest in pet health and the retail or veterinary customer journey; prior commercial experience is not required.

Benefits

  • You will gain hands-on experience of digital marketing in a regulated, customer-focused industry, developing skills in customer journey mapping, campaign delivery, content planning and performance measurement.
  • You will learn how retail and veterinary audiences interact with a portfolio of leading pet health brands and how insight can improve their experience.
  • You will also build practical experience of influencer engagement and cross-functional collaboration, while strengthening your analytical thinking, communication, project management and presentation skills.
  • Meaningful work and real responsibilities from the start, with opportunities to contribute to projects that matter.
  • Joining with a large cohort of exceptional students, you will receive a clear placement plan setting out key projects, milestones and your learning goals for the year.
  • Support from your manager, your team and HR, with regular feedback and development conversations.
  • Learning opportunities beyond the role, including workshops, networking, career insights and exposure to different parts of the business.
  • Access to coaching, mentoring and online learning resources, including Boehringer’s virtual University.
