Social Media & Content Executive – Health & Science

Responsibilities

• Developing creative ideas and content for Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms
• Planning, filming and editing short-form video (Reels and TikToks) using both traditional and AI-assisted tools
• Designing social graphics, carousels and educational content
• Managing the content calendar and ensuring consistent posting
• Spotting social media trends and opportunities for our brands
• Monitoring performance and using insights to improve content
• Helping shape our brands' personality, visual identity and tone online

Requirements

• 1–2 years' experience in social media, content creation, marketing or a similar role
• A genuine interest in science, health and nutrition and supplements, with at least one science GCSE at grade 7 or equivalent.
• A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current trends
• Experience creating and editing short-form video, using tools such as Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with, or a strong interest in, AI tools for content and video creation
• Strong written English and the ability to explain complex information simply
• Good organisation, a proactive attitude and the ability to take ownership of projects
• Adaptability and a willingness to cover different areas of the business as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.

Preferred

• Knowledge of current trends in social media technology, digital marketing practices, and ethical considerations in health communication is highly desirable
