Freelance Marketing, PR, & Social Media Coordinator - Bristol/Remote

Responsibilities

• Strategy: Develop a marketing plan and content calendar, with clear goals for audience growth, Kickstarter followers, and backer conversion.
• Social media: Manage publishing, promotional copy, and audience engagement across relevant platforms.
• PR & outreach: Build relationships with gaming journalists, influencers, streamers, and relevant communities.
• Partnerships: Explore opportunities with nature, wildlife, and environmental organisations.
• Analytics: Monitor performance, report on results, and refine the strategy to maximise impact.

Requirements

• Experience in digital marketing, social media, PR, or audience development.
• Strong communication, copywriting, and organisational skills.
• Ability to develop and implement an effective marketing strategy.
• Proactive, creative, and comfortable working independently with a limited budget.

Preferred

• Experience marketing indie games or crowdfunding campaigns.
• Familiarity with Kickstarter, Steam, Discord, and gaming communities.
• Experience with influencer outreach and community building.
• An interest in nature, wildlife, rewilding, or environmental conservation.
