Social Media & Content Assistant (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Dream up fresh, original content ideas for ZING's Instagram, TikTok and other social channels.
• Film, edit and produce engaging short-form videos, including TikToks, Reels and Stories.
• Regularly appear on camera as one of the faces of ZING, bringing energy, personality and authenticity to our social content.
• Create entertaining, educational and trend-led content that reflects ZING's brand personality.
• Capture product photography, lifestyle content, behind-the-scenes footage and other creative assets.
• Turn everyday moments, product launches and brand activities into engaging social content.
• Write catchy captions, creative hooks, scripts and social copy that sound unmistakably ZING.
• Edit videos and photography using CapCut, Canva or similar creative software.
• Assist with content shoots, including planning, filming, styling and creative direction.
• Keep a close eye on trending sounds, formats, memes and cultural moments, finding clever ways to make them relevant to ZING.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current social media trends.
• Experience creating short-form video content, whether personally, academically or professionally.
• Confidence filming, editing and producing social-first content.
• Comfortable regularly appearing in videos and speaking naturally on camera.
• Familiarity with CapCut, Canva or similar editing and design tools.
• Strong written communication skills and an ability to adapt to a brand's tone of voice.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• An interest in beauty, wellness, lifestyle or consumer brands.

Preferred

• Previous professional social media experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
