Job Summary

Own and scale paid performance marketing across Meta and Google, shaping acquisition economics, combining creative with data, and driving growth through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Lead scalable paid performance marketing across core channels
  • Bridge creative and performance to improve outcomes
  • Explore broader growth drivers with cross-functional partners

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead performance marketing at meaningful scale
  • Youll take a leading role in how we approach customer acquisition across paid channels, particularly Meta and Google and will develop a deep understanding of our acquisition economics, evaluate where investment is creating genuine value and help make better decisions about how and where we grow.
  • Youll stay close to the platforms, the data and the day-to-day realities of performance. Youll be expected to spot problems early, understand whats driving them and work out what to do next.
  • Bring performance and creative closer together - some of the biggest opportunities in modern performance marketing come from better creative thinking, not simply better media buying.
  • Youll work closely with our creative team to understand which ideas resonate with customers, why certain approaches perform and where we should experiment next.
  • Youll contribute to concepts and briefs, challenge assumptions, bring insight from performance data and help create a much stronger connection between what we make and the commercial results it delivers.
  • We want someone with genuinely good creative instincts, not someone who sees creative as a set of assets to test.
  • Solve broader growth problems
  • Youll look beyond individual campaigns to understand the wider drivers of growth.
  • That could mean investigating changes in acquisition efficiency, identifying opportunities across channels, examining how customer behaviour affects our decisions or exploring where a different approach could generate better results.

Requirements

  • Serious performance marketing expertise. Youve been personally accountable for meaningful acquisition budgets and understand paid media at a technical level. You can get into the platforms, assess performance and make informed decisions without relying on someone else to interpret the numbers.
  • A proven commercial track record. You can point to measurable improvements youve driven, explain the decisions behind them and distinguish your own contribution from the wider team.
  • Strong creative judgement. You understand how creative drives customer acquisition, have helped shape ideas and experiments, and can contribute more than performance reporting to a creative conversation.
  • Analytical depth. Youre confident working with imperfect data, questioning attribution, understanding customer economics and testing whether your assumptions are actually correct.
  • Independent problem-solving ability. You can take an ambiguous challenge, work out what matters, develop a credible approach and move it forward without needing a detailed brief.
  • The ability to turn thinking into execution. You dont stop at a compelling strategy. You know how to test it, implement it and evaluate whether its delivered.
  • Curiosity, humility and ambition. Youve achieved enough to have strong opinions, but youre still hungry to learn, willing to be challenged and interested in understanding what you dont yet know.
