Event Manager - Campaign Expansion

Compensation: £25,000 - £45,000

BasePoint is expanding its events and retail sales operations across London, working with EE as part of our growing commercial campaigns.

We're looking for ambitious individuals who want to develop practical experience in events, customer acquisition and team leadership while contributing to the growth of our commercial operations.

At BasePoint, we believe effective leadership starts with understanding the fundamentals. You'll begin by working directly with customers, learning how our events and retail campaigns operate, and developing the communication and commercial skills required to succeed in a face-to-face environment.

As you gain experience, there are opportunities to take on greater responsibilities in team development, campaign coordination and leadership.

The Role

You'll begin with hands-on training and experience across our event-based sales and marketing campaigns, representing EE in retail and promotional environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with customers across events and retail locations
• Representing EE professionally and communicating relevant products and services
• Supporting the delivery and growth of live customer acquisition campaigns
• Developing practical sales, communication and customer engagement skills
• Working towards individual and team performance objectives
• Understanding the day-to-day operations of event-based campaigns
• Participating in regular training and leadership development

This is a field-based, customer-facing sales and marketing position, rather than a desk-based event planning role. Event and team management responsibilities are potential progression opportunities, not the starting duties.

Your Development

Campaign Experience & Performance

Develop a strong foundation in customer acquisition, sales performance and campaign delivery, gaining an understanding of how successful events and retail campaigns operate.

Team Leadership & Development

As you demonstrate consistent performance, develop additional skills in mentoring, coaching, training and supporting other team members.

Event & Campaign Management

Individuals who demonstrate strong leadership capabilities may have opportunities to take on broader responsibilities in event coordination, team performance and supporting the expansion of our commercial campaigns.

Progression is based on individual performance, capability and business requirements.

You don't need previous events or management experience. We're particularly interested in people who are:

• Professional, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility
• Well organised and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available full-time and able to work on-site in London

Experience in events, retail, hospitality, sport, sales or other people-focused environments can be beneficial, but isn't essential.
