Content Strategist

Responsibilities

• develop and deliver a coherent content strategy, converting the Director's ideas and research into written content, a newsletter, media placements, website content and publishing opportunities.

Requirements

• significant experience in journalism, editorial strategy, communications or a closely related field, with a strong portfolio of published or placed writing;
• exceptional writing and editing ability, including the skill to write fluently and accurately for sophisticated audiences;
• demonstrable experience of pitching to and placing content in major national or international publications;
• experience of managing digital channels, including websites and email newsletters, and of using analytics to inform content decisions;
• a working knowledge of search engine optimisation and of how content performs across search and social channels;
• experience of creating social media content including video;
• interpersonal confidence and discretion, with experience of supporting a senior individual in a professional capacity, and a genuine interest in the themes of the Director’s work, including behavioural science, inclusive leadership and the future of work.
