Job Description

Responsibilities

Migrate and manage a large-scale website content footprint (10,000+ pages).
Work closely with the Director of Integrated Marketing and the Content Strategist to develop a content governance framework.
Oversee web auditing tools to establish content migration recommendations and action plans, in partnership with the Content Strategist.
Identify outdated, redundant or confusing content and prioritize recommendations for rewrite, removal, or reorganization.
Identify how to organize content for external University audiences (prospective students, parents, alumni, donors, partners, etc.) and internal University audiences (faculty, staff, current students).
Analyze data in tools such as GA4, GSC, CrazyEgg, SEM Rush, etc. (traffic, bounce rates, conversions) to justify content decisions.
Create detailed and organized project and content migration spreadsheets, pivot tables, etc. to track all content migration work.
Build timelines, track deliverables and give progress reports for content migration at regular intervals.
Leverage project management tools, such as Asana, to track the website content overhaul progress.
Work closely with the UMC web team to implement web content changes and migration needs and submit project requests as needed.

Requirements

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Two (2) years of relevant experience.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Information Systems, Digital Media, Web Management, or related field.
4+ years of web content management/migration experience
Demonstrated experience auditing or migrating large-scale websites
Experience with analytics, content audit tools, CMS platforms, project management systems, SEO/AEO, and accessibility
