Job Description

Responsibilities

Oversee a team of digital campaigners who manage all regional and national email and SMS campaigns.
Through regular check-ins and coaching, grow direct reports’ digital strategy, project management, people management, and communication skills.
Lead a weekly team meeting where direct reports collaborate on campaign strategy, messaging, and team process projects.
Based on team needs, provide solutions-oriented feedback to organizational leaders on how to improve campaign planning and other internal processes.
Monitor and report out on big-picture email and SMS campaign performance, recommending optimizations consistently.
Collaborate with leadership of other departments to develop ambitious goals and creative strategies for engagement and supporter-centric campaigns.
Lead cross-department coordination with Support Growth and Cultivation, including identifying opportunities for increased collaboration.
Maintain a culture of learning, experimentation, and iteration across all our channels. Seek out new practices and learnings from others both within and outside the organization to share with the team.
Act in a leadership role in partnering with the Data and Field teams to create integrated user journeys and segmentation strategies.
Leverage lapsed data to identify ways to grow our movement and re-engage supporters.

Requirements

4+ years of digital advocacy or digital organizing work for political campaigns or non-profit groups.
1+ year(s) of management experience.
Excellent planning skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and campaigns under tight deadlines.
Experience leading national campaigns and a track record of successfully increasing digital engagement.
Deep commitment to testing, reporting, and analyzing results.
Ability to communicate on complex policy in an inclusive and digestible way.
