Responsibilities

• Write and edit copy for websites, landing pages, product and feature pages, campaign pages, and other digital experiences
• Develop compelling headlines, subheads, calls to action, value propositions, and supporting web copy
• Translate complex product, technical, or marketing concepts into clear, accessible, audience-friendly language
• Adapt messaging based on the purpose of the page, target audience, user journey, and desired action
• Balance brand storytelling with concise, conversion-focused writing
• Ensure copy is structured and optimized for how users consume content online
• Partner with marketing and web teams to translate campaign, product, and go-to-market strategies into effective web messaging
• Understand where individual pages and content experiences fit within the broader marketing funnel and customer journey
• Apply SEO and digital content best practices while maintaining natural, high-quality writing
• Recommend messaging hierarchies, content structures, and approaches based on business and user needs

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional copywriting, content writing, or content marketing experience, with a significant focus on web and digital content.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating website, landing page, product, campaign, or other digital copy
• Demonstrated ability to write concise, engaging copy specifically for online audiences
• Experience translating complex topics into clear and compelling messaging
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, web content strategy, and user journeys
• Familiarity with SEO principles and writing for organic search
• Excellent editing, proofreading, and attention to detail
• Ability to shift tone and messaging for different audiences, products, and objectives
• Comfortable working collaboratively with marketing, design, product, and web teams
• Ability to manage feedback, ambiguity, and multiple priorities with minimal oversight

Preferred

• Experience writing for technology, software, AI, or other complex products
• Experience supporting product launches, integrated marketing campaigns, or go-to-market initiatives
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and the web publishing process
• Experience working within established brand voice and content guidelines
• Understanding of UX writing, conversion optimization, and web accessibility principles
• Experience using AI tools as part of the writing, research, or content development process
